Vibration therapy resets the nervous system and activates the immune system, which can result in a histamine response with itchiness. If you know vibrations make you uncomfortable, this isn’t your thing. If you aren’t sure, the only way to know is to try. If you get itchy, we’ll stop and refund you. If you don’t get itchy, you’ll likely experience tingly peaceful euphoria. So worth a try!

Vibration therapy is a gentle bodywork technique. A practitioner glides a vibration mechanism over your body, which releases rhythmic vibrations that calm the nervous system and activate the immune system. Vibration Therapy promotes deep relaxation and can lead to many benefits related to stress relief, anxiety, sleep, pain relief, muscle relaxation and recovery, and improved circulation.

Many people describe vibration therapy as calming nourishing waves flowing through the body. Some people experience a blissful tingling or euphoric sensation even saying it is “better than sex” and “the closest thing to ecstasy”.

That said, everybody is different. Occasionally, temporary itchiness occurs due to an immune system activation with a mild histamine response. If you’re prone to unpleasant itchiness from other types of vibration such as a handheld massager, vibration plate or walking, you will likely experience it here as well.

If you aren’t sure if you’d have the tingly “better than sex” experience or the itchies, the way to know is to try.  If you don’t like the session within a couple of minutes, we’ll refund you.  There’s no risk with a huge potential reward.  You might walk away in ecstasy or ultimate peace.  So worth it!

Deep Relaxation. To reach deep relaxation, there are 3 phases during a full 60 minutes therapeutic : preparation, vibration, and integration.  The preparation phase begins with an intake to understand your state of being, which includes the option for you to share, as deeply as you like, around anything related to your mind, body and soul. This seems simple, yet verbally releasing what weighs you down creates space for the vibration to sink further into your system. The second part of the preparation phase uses essential oils, reflexology points and subtle body rocking to calm the mind and open up the channels of the body.  This allows you to receive the vibration deeper and enhances its positive effects.

Then you are ready for the vibration phase.  The practitioner will use the vibration tool throughout the back of the body and then you will flip over for the front of the body.  The use of the vibration device over clothing enables treatment on sensitive areas that often get neglected in other therapies.  As long as you’re comfortable, we include the buttocks, sacrum, chest/breasts (avoiding the nipples), stomach (great for digestion) and psoas.  These areas often hold the most stress so working with them opens up more healing potential for the mind/body/soul.

Once the vibration phase is complete, integration begins.  Unlike other modalities, with vibration therapy, the integration phase is the most important.  This is when your body starts to remember its natural calm wave-like state without the help of the device.  The longer you can stay in a relaxed state after the session, the more your body can imprint these soothing rhythms. We leave at least 15 minutes at the end of the session for you to remain on the table without moving at all. This is how the baseline of your nervous system starts to shift to a calmer state long-term. Plus, you’ll want to stay on the table during the integration phase because it’s when blissful ecstatic sensations are most present.  It feels so good, you won’t want to move.

Vibration Therapy is generally gentle and safe. However, it is always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider if you have concerns or specific medical conditions.  If you’re pregnant, have a pacemaker, heart condition, neurological issues, skin sensitivities or a recent injury, it’s best to consult with your doctor.

Arrive with a lightly filled or empty stomach so the vibrations can work into the digestive system for healing.  During the session you will keep your clothing on. Comfortable fitted clothing that is smooth without buttons or buckles is recommended.  For women, it is ideal to go braless so the vibration device can easily access the heart area.  Jewelry can also be removed.

With massage, a practitioner uses their hands directly on skin to work with your muscles.  With vibration therapy, a practitioner glides vibration tools gently over a clothed body to release rhythmic soothing vibrations that calm the nervous system. If you like massage, you’ll probably like vibration therapy.  If you don’t like massage, there’s still a great chance you’ll like vibration therapy 🙂  The only way to know is to try.

Mental health isn’t just in the mind — our bodies hold stories too. Even science now validates that trauma gets stuck in the body – “your issues are in your tissues”.  Vibration Therapy helps support emotional healing by working directly with the nervous system, encouraging the body to release tension and restore a sense of safety from within. While talk therapy gives space for reflection, insight, and expression, vibration brings the body into the conversation — creating a fuller, more integrated path to healing. Together, they offer support that is both grounding and transformative.

Calm.  For some the sense of calm brings focus and inspired action and for others it elicits deep rest that may even lead to a much needed 3 hour nap or the best night sleep you’ve had.  Either way there’s an afterglow.

It depends on your goals. Some clients come occasionally during high stress periods and others come weekly to reset their nervous system and maintain a calm balanced state.  To help support your goals and make multiple session more accessible, we do offer extra discounts to people who want to come regularly.
